Day 11: give me something pretty {31 days of watercolor}

How can you paint and not ever paint flowers? 

How can you paint and not practice on still life objects?

really, you just can't because it's about practice. it's about light and shadow and looking at objects closely... objects that won't move :)

today i grabbed these at the grocery store and practiced on a smaller scale

it was great fun!

i love the way just one brush stroke can be enough sometimes

i love lights and shadows 

i love painting water.... with colored water

 and i'm super loving painting glass right now!!
