day nineteen is progress!!
and by that i mean progress in the direction i have been wanting to go and i'm giddy!
there are certain qualities about watercolor that i've always admired. and they have sort of become my unwritten goals throughout this process... and i'm seeing them come to fruition!!
...allowing a brush stroke to be enough for one mark
...letting go of a certain degree of control and painting loosely {but with enough detail} i think this is what gives watercolor it's true beauty
...letting the work guide certain choices not in the original plan
...and allowing the watercolor to illuminate the painting
i love seeing these things happen!!
it makes me want to keep working at it!!
